On November 13, our Administrative Board unanimously voted to move into an official period of discernment around our connection to the United Methodist Church. We will have four meetings in January that will help to clarify this process and unite our church family as to a path forward for New Covenant. Although this is a significant step for our church, this is not a guarantee of a vote, but it is a step into purposeful discernment for our future. We are starting to discern, through prayer and holy conversations, what the right move is for the future of New Covenant.
Make plans to join us for the Family Meetings and the OKUMC All Church Conference. All the meetings will take place in the Worship Center. The meetings will not be live streamed, but a recording of each conversation will be placed on the Discernment webpage the following day. Childcare is available with reservation to jmight@newcov.tv.
