Discipleship Groups

A Discipleship Group (D-Group) is a group of three to five people who read together, pray together, and meet together to become the love of God for one another and the world.

D-Groups are…
-Small. A minimum of three and a maximum five people.
-Same Gender. This is to allow for vulnerability, trust, and safety.
-About Transformation. Time + Trust = Transformation. Growing more and more like Jesus is the goal.
-Relational. There is a high priority for developing healthy, Spirit-filled relationships.

D-Groups...
-Read Together. D-Groups are unified through the reading of a common biblical text.
-Pray Together. Whether together or apart, D-Groups pray for one another.
-Meet Together. D-Groups commit to meeting together consistently and with intentionality.

A D-Group Meeting...
-Starts with prayer
-Asks questions about your soul, your struggles and successes, how the Spirit and scripture are speaking to you, and about your sins and secrets.
-Ends with prayer.

New Covenant D-Groups are based off of a resource called Discipleship Bands by Seedbed. Click below to discover more details about the heart of D-Groups and how they function.
