Every year Edmond hosts a Community Thanksgiving Dinner for families and individuals to enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal! New Covenant is one of the many churches and organizations that helps to make this event possible. 

This year’s lunch will be a sit down meal with reservations. The times for  reservations are: 11:00am, 11:45am, 12:30pm, 1:15pm, and 1:45pm.  Please call 405-562-3200 from 8am-4:30pm weekdays to make a reservation for dinner on Thanksgiving Day.  The menu is: turkey, dressing, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, and pumpkin pie.  

This year the committee will be purchasing all food in bulk. Thus, no shopping for the wonderful New Covenant members!

Here are the ways you can help:

• Donations:
  Cash or check donations (all donations are tax deductible). Please make checks out to Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner and drop the check into the offering plate or give online by choosing the Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner Fund.

• Carving Turkeys:
  Turkeys (30) will be roasted on Monday, November 20, in the church kitchen, and your  help is needed with carving.

• Prepare Stuffing:
  We will prepare the stuffing on Tuesday morning, November 21, in the church kitchen. Volunteer hours are 9-11am.

• Thanksgiving Day Servers:
  Servers are needed for the lunch from 11:00 am-2:00 pm.
