We will meet from 6:00-6:30 pm upstairs in the New Cov Kids Building.  Bible Blast is a scripture-based, parent-driven program for kids four years of age through fourth grade. It gives your family an opportunity to get into God's word together throughout the week and celebrate what you've learned. Join us for the Midweek Dinner starting at 5:30 pm in the Activity Center, and meet us at 6:00 pm for Bible Blast! Contact Kate Martinez with any questions at or by calling her at 405.227.7396.

NC Students has weekly programming for 6th-12th graders starting on August 21st.

On Wednesday nights, our goal is to help students experience the love of God to become the love of God in the world. We do this through fun experiences, real relationships, relevant and challenging messages, authentic worship, and prayer.

Programming starts at 6:30 but the doors open at 6pm. Students can hang out together in the cafe, play video games in the Commons, or play games in the gym. At 6:30 we gather in the Commons for games, worship and teaching and then break into age/gender based small groups.

Unashamed

Pastor Jay

For Midweek this Fall, Pastor Jay is going to be leading a Bible Study, chapter-by-chapter, through Paul’s most robust theological letter, the Book of Romans. Each week, Pastor Jay will teach through a few chapters of Romans to help us discover what it means to live a life UNASHAMED of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This Midweek, we are doing something slightly different. The Pastor’s Bible Study is going to bookend the Midweek Meal. So, each Wednesday, at 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM, in the Fireside Room, the study will be taking place. We are making this shift in hopes that some in our community who do not feel comfortable staying late or who serve in other capacities during the 6:30 PM hour can still participate.

Make a plan to join us in this deep dive into the book of Romans!

Financial Peace

Tim Delpha

Financial Peace University (FPU) is a nine-lesson class that teaches you a step-by-step plan to win with money. Participants will learn to save for emergencies, pay off debt fast, spend wisely, and invest in your future.

FPU at New Cov is a classroom-style program that uses group discussions, videos, and a book to walk you through common sense, biblical money principles.

This class begins September 4th and will end November 6th, taking a break on October 16th.

The Gift of Empathy

Frank Andrews & Bonnie Cates

Join us as we look at what it means to help others feel valued, cared for, and understood. In this six-week class led by our Stephen Ministry team, we will explore practical insights so that we can make a difference in the lives of all we encounter.

Contemplative Prayer

Suzan Benson

Sometimes, we are so busy that we don't see the ways God is at work in us. We struggle to feel as though God is behind the scenes doing what only He can do.  Is this you? Do you need God to do in you what only He can?  What do you need God to do?  Come and learn the simple prayers that put you in the place to receive more from God than you ever have and change your life. We will learn and practice a different prayer practice every time we meet.

The Bible Explorers

Room 201

This ongoing Wednesday evening group is a multi-generational, inclusive group who want to draw nearer to God through Bible Study, Commentary Study, and class participation. They aim to learn how to disciple others, to thrive in this world and to defend their faith.

Do you have questions about biblical principles, scripture meaning or things you see or hear in Church? This group does, too! They believe the correct role of a Christian, is a student so they welcome questions and encourage open discussion. kyler.kanady@gmail.com  |  405-628-7778

D-Groups

CONTINUOUS

This fall we are asking you to consider joining or creating a Discipleship Group, better known as a D-Group. A D-Group is a group of three to five people of the same gender who read together, pray together, and meet together to become the love of God for one another and the world.

As part of our Wednesday night Midweek programming, we are offering rooms for D-Groups to meet from 6:30-7:30pm. We will have programming for children and childcare available for infants.

Sign up here.

His Hands

Decker Hall

This team joins in prayer for requests made to the church. Every Wednesday evening this  team prepares the Worship Center for Sunday morning services by arranging items, such as the prayer request cards, within the pews and praying for the needs of those who will be sitting in each seat the following Sunday.   This team also writes notes of hope and encouragement to persons on the prayer list each week.  It’s a great team that grows together by encouraging and supporting each other while becoming friends (and having a lot of fun in the process).
