Renovation of the Heart
We’re six weeks into our journey based on Dallas Willard’s Renovation of the Heart! If you missed the start, you can catch up online—watch the Study Sessions, revisit the sermons, and even download a phone wallpaper as a daily reminder throughout this series.
You can also still jump into any of our Family Groups to go through the future Study Sessions, including an open Sunday School in Room 202.

Stewardship 2025
We believe that generosity is the outflow of a discipled life because a renovated heart is a generous heart. This October we are emphasizing how we are called to steward our lives and our gifts for the Kingdom of Heaven and we are asking you to prayerfully consider what your gift towards New Covenant’s General Ministry and Mission Budget will be in the upcoming year of 2026.
We are excited about all of the things God is doing in our church and through our church for the world around us, you can read updates on ministry, watch testimony videos, and see pictures by clicking the button below.
Also, Commitment Sunday will be October 26th, but you can make your pledge for 2026 any time online or by turning in your pledge card in the offering.
NC Kids “It’s Christmas Time”
October 12
We’re thrilled to announce that our NC Kids Choir will present It’s Christmas Time on Sunday, December 7th! This annual favorite returns —this year, instead of a play, our kids will share the Christmas story through a joyful choir performance. With opportunities for solos and speaking parts, every child from preschool through 5th grade is welcome to participate and shine as part of the celebration.
There is still time to join! Rehearsals will take place every Sunday afternoon at 12:30 pm in the NC Kids Building. Lunch will be provided every week for kids before rehearsal begins. For more information, contact our Director of Next Gen, John Gilstrap, at jgilstrap@newcov.tv. We can’t wait to see your kids lift their voices this Christmas season!

You’re invited to join us for New Covenant's Legacy Fellowship Luncheon on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 12:30–2:00 pm in the Fireside Room. Together, we’ll explore how planned giving can help you leave a lasting spiritual legacy—blessing future generations of New Covenant by building an endowment that supports the church’s mission for years to come. Come enjoy a meal, fellowship, and vision for how enduring generosity can make an eternal impact. All are invited, just let Ruby know you plan on coming at rgabelmann@newcov.tv or 405-562-3213.

Healing Prayer Service
November 2
Join us on Sunday, November 2nd at 4:30pm for a special Healing Prayer Service — a time of peace, prayer, and restoration. Through acoustic worship, reflective prayer, and moments of silence, we’ll create space for God’s healing touch — whether physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. Prayer teams will be available throughout the service, and you’re welcome to receive prayer, pray for others, or sit in silence with Jesus as you feel led. Come with an open heart and expectant spirit as we bring our hurts to the cross and encounter the God who heals.
November Midweek
November 5
Join us for a three-week class on Creating a Rule of Life this November. A Rule of Life is a helpful tool to organize your life in order to live intentionally in your apprenticeship to Jesus. We will walk through what exactly this means and then get to work creating our Rule of Life together in class. This class is a seamless next step if you have been a part of Renovating our Hearts or the Renovation of the Heart classes and teachings. We will meet on November 5, 12, and 19, at 6:30 pm in the Fireside Room.
A delicious dinner of pizza and salad will be served each week from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Activity Center--$5 for adults and $2 for kids. NC Kids Midweek Adventure and NC Students will continue their Wednesday night programming.
Students Fall Retreat
November 7-9
This fall, our students are invited to step into The Way of the Kingdom. Jesus taught that God’s Kingdom is not just something far off in the future, it’s here now, breaking into our world. During this retreat, we’ll explore what the Kingdom of God is, what it looks like in our daily lives, and how we can live as citizens of that Kingdom.
This weekend will be a meaningful chance for students to pause from the noise, grow closer to Jesus, and discover how to live the way of the Kingdom, right here, right now.
Retreat Details:
Grades: 6th–12th
Dates: November 7–9
Location: Camp Oakridge
Cost: $150 (Deposit of $25 required)
Scholarships are available, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if cost is a concern.

Pastor Appreciation Month
October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Show your love to Pastor Jay and Lauren Hagner, Chapel Minister, by writing cards and dropping them in the available baskets, one at the Connection Point and one outside of the chapel. We will collect cards the next four Sundays. You can also mail them letters to the church: 2700 S Boulevard, Edmond, OK 73013. Thanks for loving our Pastors well!
