Healing Prayer Service
November 2
Join us on Sunday, November 2nd at 4:30pm for a special Healing Prayer Service — a time of peace, prayer, and restoration. Through acoustic worship, reflective prayer, and moments of silence, we’ll create space for God’s healing touch — whether physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. Prayer teams will be available throughout the service, and you’re welcome to receive prayer, pray for others, or sit in silence with Jesus as you feel led. Come with an open heart and expectant spirit as we bring our hurts to the cross and encounter the God who heals.
Infant Crisis Services Baby Shower
November 9
New Covenant is hosting a special baby shower to gather donations for Infant Crisis Services on Sunday, November 9th in between our services from 9:30-11am in the Café! This will be a come-and-go reception to drop off donations. Thank you for your help in blessing babies and toddlers in Oklahoma City!
Infant Crisis Services has seen a steep increase of families who are needing Toddler Food Packs, so we are collecting monetary donations and other item donations to help meet this need!
The Infant Crisis Center has a wishlist of donations that include:
Cheerios (other healthy, toddler-friendly breakfast cereal)
Dry beans (pinto or white beans)
Canned chili with beans
Dry pasta (any shape)
Canned tomato pasta sauce
Applesauce
Canned corn, peas, green beans, carrots, or mixed vegetables

November Midweek
November 5
Join us for a three-week class on Creating a Rule of Life this November. A Rule of Life is a helpful tool to organize your life in order to live intentionally in your apprenticeship to Jesus. We will walk through what exactly this means and then get to work creating our Rule of Life together in class. This class is a seamless next step if you have been a part of Renovating our Hearts or the Renovation of the Heart classes and teachings. We will meet on November 5, 12, and 19, at 6:30 pm in the Fireside Room.
A delicious dinner of pizza and salad will be served each week from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Activity Center--$5 for adults and $2 for kids. NC Kids Midweek Adventure and NC Students will continue their Wednesday night programming, as well as the Revelation Bible Study Class and other ongoing adult options.
Hospitality
As we head into the holiday season, we’re looking to add more greeters and ushers to our Sunday morning team! This is an ongoing opportunity to serve. It’s easy, meaningful, and only asks for a once-a-month commitment (though you can serve more often if you’d like). With so many new faces visiting, we want to continue to be a church that is inviting and approachable. If you’re interested, talk to Abbi Blair or email ablair@newcov.tv.
Stewardship 2025
We believe that generosity is the outflow of a discipled life because a renovated heart is a generous heart. This October we are emphasizing how we are called to steward our lives and our gifts for the Kingdom of Heaven and we are asking you to prayerfully consider what your gift towards New Covenant’s General Ministry and Mission Budget will be in the upcoming year of 2026.
We are excited about all of the things God is doing in our church and through our church for the world around us, you can read updates on ministry, watch testimony videos, and see pictures by clicking the button below.
Helping Feed Our Neighbors
We understand that many of our neighbors are facing food insecurity right now, and we want to help how we can. First of all, thank you! Because of your generous giving towards Faith Promise and Special Needs, the missions team was able to purchase $2,000 worth of food donations for the Blessing Box that is in our north parking lot, and $2,500 worth of food donations for our mission partner Project 66, a food resource center here in Edmond.
If you are looking to help with our endeavor to feed our neighbors we have a couple of opportunities!
We need volunteers to help keep the Blessing Box stocked throughout the week, especially on Mondays. If you have availability to move donations to the Blessing Box from our storage area, contact Steve West at 405.919.7299.
We are collecting donations for Project 66’s Thanksgiving Food Drive at the Connection Point:
Canned Corn
Canned Green Beans
Cream of Mushroom
Stuffing
Gravy
Cranberry Sauce
Canned Pumpkin
Canned Sweet Potatoes
You can find other ways to volunteer and get involved at Project 66 here: https://www.project66.org/get-involved
You can also make a financial gift towards Faith Promise or the Special Needs Fund by check or online.

Baptism Sunday

On Sunday, November 16, we are having a Baptism Sunday! During our services we will be baptizing anyone who has not been baptized but is ready to make the public profession, and any child who has not been baptized. Baptism is a huge part of who we are. We want to make sure that we communicate the power of the sacrament in a way that glorifies God and unites the body!
If you or your child have not been baptized but would like to be baptized, let us know; please contact Abbi Blair at ablair@newcov.tv or call 405.562.3212 today!
